Testing Camera Techniques Before Filming

Yesterday, we were given a camera and tripod per group and taught how to create a depth of field using the manual setting and focusing in the right position. we also learnt how to change the aperture on the camera in order to create a brighter or darker effect. we then went out and applied these techniques when using the camera around college. for example: one person was stood behind and the other person more closer to the camera so we created a depth of field to focus on the person in front and make the person behind more blurry.
